| A very scarce humor magazine, which was initially an unillustrated quarto founded by George Peck containing Civil War humor. After the war, it was converted to an illustrated folio by Alfred Leslie. The cover and centerfold of this issue contain caustic political cartoons satirizing Andrew Johnson. The back page contains an advertisement for baseball paraphernalia with a cartoon of a player. Not in Sloane. A special thanks to Richard West for the above information. | |
