The scarce, early 19th century equivalent of “Ripley’s Believe It or Not” edited by D. Fraser. One of the plates, the frontispiece of Rinaldo Rinaldini, is not in Lewis. A British magazine “The Wonderful Magazine” with similar content appeared 1793 – 1794.
