A copperhead magazine edited and published by C. Chauncey Burr. The only consistently anti-Lincoln magazine published in the North during the Civil War. After the war a Richmond edition was published. According to Mott, publication was suspended (and suppressed) after three issues and resumed in January 1863. Initially, the January and February 1863 issues were called volume 2 but then renumbered as volume 1, making all issues after January 1863 a new series. |
